I am, was, a Dairy Maid on a farm just outside the town of Burchell.

Being a Dairy Maid isn’t as good as being a Princess of course. I was contented though, if not happy. I had a steady income, a decent boss and a roof over my head. All of which were important considerations for an orphan.

All of this changed on my eighteenth birthday but not in a good way.

Waking up in a forest, when you went to bed in your home is confusing at the best of times. Finding yourself naked, covered in blood and lying next to a dead animal, doubly so.

With no memory of the preceding hours, I embark on a journey of discovery.

Not everything I discover is pleasing though. As the issues steadily mount up, I find my options steadily shrinking.

I had been accepted by my friends for what I am, a Were-wolf.

The circle of people who knew that was quite small, although expanding.

Called to the King’s Court, I am presented with an unusual Quest, investigate a series of quakes rocking the southern town of Transome.

The Quest had originated with Oswald, the Mayor who had gifted me the reward for killing a gang of cut-throats.

The trip south was uneventful but the same couldn’t be said about our investigation.

Troops from Kantry, our aggressive western neighbour, were there investigating as well.

Enemy soldiers, bandits and an unusual new friend made for an interesting and eventful investigation.

I am a Werewolf, something that was becoming more and more widely known it seems.

Returning from Burchell, I was immediately plunged into Court intrigue with Queen Selene of Ullia and two of her daughters. The two of them were placed in my care, both joining the guild, My guild now, as Elizabeth had officially left to take up the position of Herald to match her class.

Travelling south on a quest from Elizabeth, our search for evidence of Elves, Dwarves or Orcs was successful.

We had stumbled across a Dwarf settlement and also discovered the reason for their absence, a new dangerous monster. I had also met a young Dryad.

Returning to Dungeon Town, Elizabeth presented me with another Quest, to escort her and the King’s taxes to the Capital, Ashton.

There I met the King again, receiving quests to run the remaining two dungeons in Ashvale.

Entering Ashton though carried a risk, the Lord who wishes to capture me, lives there.
