As a Princess, I had everything I could ever want at my fingertips, except the one thing I really craved, Freedom.
Now I have freedom and live on a ship, The Midnight Serpent but that has its drawbacks.

Having turned eighteen, my thoughts turn to the future. Still potentially tied to the monarchy, I inform my brother, the King, that I am abdicating my title and any claim to the throne.

This removes the main issue with settling anywhere. With my title removed, Northgate, Denbaaria becomes my new home. Along with Captain Greaves, my business partner, I had accepted a Letter of Margue from the King in Denbaaria, becoming Privateers, with the intention of tackling the growing pirate problem.

While Captain Greaves remained on the ship, I was stuck in Northgate pandering to the local aristocrats, as the latest wealthy socialite on the scene. Partially thanks to the King gifting me a large mansion in the City.
